Sunday Club – Spring 2012

Dear Parents and Children,

Firstly, thank you and well done to all the children who participated in our performance of “The Holly and the Ivy” in front of the congregation in church before Christmas. Our two readers did themselves proud as well. Holy Trinity’s marvellous organist, Frank Hughes, accompanied our group on the piano with his usual mix of sensitivity and panache! Bravo everyone!

Our Sunday Club recommenced on Sunday, 15th January, as was listed at the bottom of the autumn schedule. The programme for the coming months is listed below. As before, on the relevant days we will see you in church at 10.45 a.m. and will then escort you over to the hall. Parents can collect their children from the hall immediately following the service. Parents of young children who may not wish to be left are very welcome to sit in on Sunday Club too.

Each time we meet, we encourage the children to contribute a coin to our charity box, much as the grown-ups do in church. At the end of the Sunday Club year, in May, the children and leaders decide upon the charity or charities to which we would like to donate what we have collected.

We look forward to seeing you all very soon! V.M.
